Happy Valentines Day

It’s again the time of year when one shows how much they love a person. But wait, why do we have to wait for this time of the year to buy a card? To give a gift, to be romantic, or to show our true feelings and emotions! We think Valentines Day is a nice celebration, but we also think that one doesn’t have to wait for this particular event to show they love someone. Nowadays we think that events like these are becoming an opportunity for more commerce, does one buy love? Does love have a price? We don’t think so! So why do we have to have money to show we love someone?! A simple and clear example is an experience that Kim had yesterday; Kim: I always liked cards, birthday, Christmas, Valentines etc. I think there really cute :D, but yesterday I learned a big lesson. A person can show you how much he/she loves you not by a card or a gift, or on a special occasion such as Valentines day, he/she can show to you how much they love you all year, as I said before, I really like cards but yesterday instead of a card, from Glenn I received a poem which he wrote all by himself, the poem was four pages long in a quatrain style, it explained the journey we had together up till now. I thought it was a really sweet thing that Glenn did, the lesson was that I think it was a simple gesture that meant a lot to me, and appreciated it much more than a card, and I thought it was more romantic :), because he had to choose the words and it was more personal than a commercial card, which about thousands of people would be explained how much a person loves them in the same words.
We think Valentines Day is an important event, but its importance depends on how much one makes it important. Have a nice Valentines Day!
